The Use of Protandim By Cancer Patients

TREATMENT RATING: Protandim is the most effective product on earth to minimize and neutralize the side-effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Much of the damage done by orthodox cancer treatments are from oxidation. Protandim is one millions times more effective as an anti-oxidant than normal anti-oxidants!! While much of the damage done by chemotherapy and radiation is oxidation in nature, some of the damage is permanent damage and cannot be helped by Protandim. But overall, Protandim will greatly and quickly deal with several of the key side-effects of chemotherapy and radiation!! In addition, studies have shown that antioxidants, taken during chemotherapy, increase survival rates. Since chemotherapy does far more harm than good, it is easy to see how neutralizing its oxidation affects can increase survival rates. Protandim is strongly recommended as an adjunct protocol for any cancer treatment!! The exception is for those who are taking the Cellect-Budwig protocol. The researchers of these protocols feel that Protandim should not be taken for at least two hours after the Budwig protocol is completed for the day. Cancer researchers strongly suspect that Protandim can revert many cancer cells into normal cells because of its herbal formula (though this is not why Protandim was formulated the way that it was). There is very strong evidence to support this belief. In fact I personally consider Protandim to be a supplemental treatment for the cancer itself!! Vendors are not allowed to make such statements, and in fact most people who sell Protandim have no clue it is a cancer treatment since they are only taught about its anti-oxidant capabilities. Protandim is not considered a stand-alone treatment for cancer, but rather it is a supplemental cancer treatment which reduces the side-effects and damage done by chemotherapy.

What Causes Cancer At the Cellular Level?In a normal cell the energy of the cell is generated by a molecule called ATP or adenosine triphosphate. ATP is made inside the mitochondria of every cell. In fact, every human cell has thousands of mitochondria in them.
The normal process of creating ATP molecules is this: A cancer cell consumes 15 times more glucose than a normal cell. Thus, one would logically conclude that cancer cells make 15 times more pyruvate and thus 15 times more ATP molecules. But the fact is that cancer cells create virtually zero ATP molecules. In fact, cancer cells create such a low amount of ATP that the cell must revert to fermentation to create enough ATP molecules for the cell to stay alive. Some alternative cancer treatments work by lowering the number of ATP molecules inside every cell. Lowering the ATP molecule count in normal cells does not harm them. But lowering the ATP count in cancer cells can cause them to literally fall apart. Why does a cancer cell consume 15 times more glucose than a normal cell, but creates virtually zero ATP molecules in their mitochondria? The answer is a very special type of microbe which gets inside of a normal cell. Once inside of the normal cell it does an amazing number of things to protect the cell and allow it to spread. One of the things it does to make the cell cancerous is block the production of ATP molecules. For example, when this microbe gets inside of a normal cell, and starts to divide, it intercepts the glucose because these microbes feed on glucose. Thus, Steps 2, 3, and 4 above are blocked. Furthermore, microbes excrete mycotoxins, which are highly acidic and totally useless to the cell. Thus, instead of the mitochondria swimming in a sea of pyruvate they are swimming in a sea of highly acidic mycotoxins. The cell cannot create ATP molecules except through fermentation, which is a very poor way to create ATP molecules. Due to the lack of energy in cancer cells (i.e. due to the lack of ATP molecules), cancer cells are very weak. But because cancer cells steal glucose from the body and produce lactic acid, the non-cancerous cells are also very sick!! (This has been a very simplified discussion) Many cancer researchers, starting over 100 years ago in the 1890s, have isolated the cause of cancer to be microbes, though they did not understand the mechanism inside the cell which caused a microbe to make a cell cancerous. A more detailed discussion of how microbes cause cancer can be found in the article: "What Causes Cancer," which is linked to on the left side-bar. The point is that if you kill these microbes, the cell will be able to restore its own metabolism and will soon become a normal cell!! This is the ideal way to cure cancer because there are no dead cancer cells to toxify the body!! But almost all natural substances do not normally get inside of cells, it is almost impossible for natural substances to kill the microbes inside the cancer cells. Natural substances can kill cancer cells and build the immune system, but they generally cannot kill microbes inside the cancer cells. However, very special protocols, such as Protandim, can get inside of cancer cells and kill these microbes. More is said below about this subject.
About ProtandimMany people take antioxidants every day. Protandim is more than one million times more effective at getting rid of free radicals than anti-oxidants!! This has been scientifically proven over and over again. How is this possible? Anti-oxidants generally get rid of free radicals one-to-one, meaning one molecule of an anti-oxidant neutralizes one molecule of a free radical. But Protandim works in an entirely different way. Protandim activates (i.e. "turns on") an enzyme in the body: Superoxide Dismutase (SOD). This enzyme is a scavenger of free radicals and ONE SOD enzyme can neutralize up to one-million free radicals EVERY SECOND for up to 13 days!!! It helps neutralize the side-effects and damage of chemotherapy and radiation. Many people who have used alternative cancer treatments have died of their cancer without having a single cancer cell in their body!! They died because of the long-term affects of chemotherapy or radiation!! Much of this damage was caused by oxidation. Protandim can help neutralize this oxidation!! We know this because two of the key SOD enzymes that need to be activated are inside of cells. One is inside the mitochondria and the other in inside the cell, but not inside the mitochondria. It is inside the cells where the microbes live that cause cancer, as mentioned above. The five ingredients in Protandim are all antibacterial, thus it is believed that the ingredients in Protandim may also kill the bacteria that cause cancer. This may allow many cancer cells to revert into normal cells; which will happen if the microbes inside the cancer cells are killed. Thus, Protandim has an amazing potential to not only neutralize much of the damage done by chemotherapy and radiation, but also to revert many cancer cells into normal cells!! Case StudyJim (United States): Jim did not know anything about alterative medicine so the only thing he took for his cancer was 2 pills of Protandim every day. In fact, he took these two pills solely because of the side-effects of large doses of chemotherapy and radiation. Neither Jim, nor anyone else, suspected that Protandim might be a cancer treatment. This is a very important case study because his only cancer treatment was Protandim so it is easy to isolate what cured his cancer!! Jim had prostate, colon, thyroid, etc. cancers and had been sent home to die. His treatments included large amounts of chemotherapy, radiation and surgeries. He was sent home to die in September, 2009 with an estimated 3 months to live. Jim started taking Protandim in January, 2010. He returned to work about a month after starting Protandim!! Protandim almost immediately helped with his symptoms of pain, energy and sleeping. I interviewed him twice, with the last time being in late June, 2011. The Ingredients In Protandim
Protandim contains: As already mentioned, cancer is known to be caused by a microbe. It is actually a highly pleomorphic bacteria (e.g. most likely Helicobacter Pylori or H. pylori) when it resides inside of cancer cells. ALL 5 of the ingredients in Protandim are known to be anti-bacterial!! Turmeric is specifically mentioned as being able to kill the specific bacteria known to cause cancer. In addition, when the SOD enzyme is activated both oxygen and hydrogen peroxide are released inside the cancer cell (for those SOD enzymes which are inside the cancer cells). These two items also are known to kill microbes!! The dose for those who are using this product as an anti-oxidant is 2 pills a day. However, because cancer patients have an abnormal amount of oxidation damage and because this product can kill microbes inside the cancer cells, a cancer patient should take 5-6 pills a day (which costs about $5 or $6 a day).
How To Take ProtandimThe easiest way to take Protandim is to take two pills, three times a day. Two pills in the morning, two in the early afternoon and two at night. For those who have had a lot of chemotherapy or have had surgery in the stomach or colon, it is strongly recommended to crush the pills as much as possible before taking them. Chemotherapy can severely damage the ability of the digestive tract to digest supplements, thus the pills need to be crushed into a powder if possible.
